Previous Owners of a Property

• The Land Registry Title Register shows the current ownership of a property in its B section
• Previous ownerships are not displayed in the current edition of the Register
• To discover a previous ownership an application should be made for a Prior Copy of the Title Register.
• You can go back to April 1993.
• If the date a property was first registered with the Land Registry is later than 1993 you can only search back to the date of First Registration
• Your search must be as at a specified date. If you require several past ownerships you will need to submit a search for each date.
